Graham Caffull
Graham’s affinity with maps dates back to his school days and Geography lessons, but it was much later in life that a love of fell walking in the Lake District and an increasing familiarity with Ordnance Survey maps developed, alongside a renewed interest in art and painting.
Graham says…
“It was almost by accident that these two interests coincided when, inspired by Alfred Wainwright’s beautifully illustrated guide books and maps, my own map paintings grew from basic pen & ink sketches to the intricate watercolour drawings you see before you, all produced on original maps.
